ADDICTIONS

ADDICTION

According to Psychology Today, “addiction is a condition in which a person engages in the use of a substance or in a behavior for which the rewarding effects provide a compelling incentive to repeatedly pursue the behavior despite detrimental consequences”.

While the American Psychiatric Association described it as “a complex condition, a brain disease that is manifested by compulsive substance use despite harmful consequence.”

When most individuals hear the term “ADDICTION” and drugs and alcohol comes to mind, however, while Addiction may involve the use of substances it can also include behaviors such as sex, gambling, and others. Addictions can lead to mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or other pre-existing problems.

Our goal here at Family 360 Center is to offer clinical and psychotherapeutic modalities and also holistic addiction treatment program which includes a general lifestyle reboot.

In addition to the clinical and psychotherapeutic modalities that we offer, our holistic addiction treatment program includes a general lifestyle reboot.
