GREAT START GEORGIA/HEALTHY FAMILIES
In partnership with Great Start Georgia (GSG), Hosanna Ministries offers support services for parents, available from their pregnancy through their child’s first five years. GSG’s First Steps and Healthy Families provide encouragement and education to parents and work to connect them with valuable resources. First Steps and Healthy Families are available at no cost to families.
First Steps works with parents of children under the age of five to help them cope with family stress, to understand child development, and to provide support in multiple areas by connecting them with community resources and supports. First Steps families may be offered additional support and services through Healthy Families, our in-home support program.
Healthy Families offers weekly support to families in the convenience of their own homes around family schedules. Services start either during pregnancy or immediately following the birth and can continue until the child is five years old.
